How cute are they?!?!

I saw this couple in the park the other day when I took the kids. Aren't they precious? I can't wait to be that grey, and be even more in love with Joshua than I am now.

Mat Pirolo

This is a bad picture, but I didn't want to distract! Mat taught at renovate on thursday night, and it was great! He taught on Gods Redemption, and His provision. It was great! I laughed, I cried, and I left with a lot to think about, and praise God for. This kid should be behind the pulpit more often!

Joshua came to my work!

We played hide and go seek for a while, once we had used all the good hiding spots, we decided to have story time. Josh of course was a big hit. The kids loved him, and begged him not to leave when he had to go to work. I guess this means he should visit more often!

Once again

My car is broken down. And sitting in the spot it was for weeks. Unfortunately, when its at the mechanic shop they're able to start it and drive it around just fine. Only when its in our care does it decide to break......hmmmm. I wonder if its just time to give up on this old thing?

Kids and clothes....

Going through all the kids seasonal clothes, and figuring out what still fits, and what's warm enough. There's about 5 other big bags that aren't in this picture. Four kids = alot of work. .

I love my job

Today, we colored for a bit, and Thanh made me a picture. He even wrote "I love you Tamara". And as for those round things, they are my shoulders. They make my arms move.

Really a serious documentary, however Chip and Skip decided to lighten the mood and perform their act as the two amigos.

State Fair

Josh and Mat are running the M88 booth this weekend. This parade has gone by quite a few times already. Probably what I hate most about expo new mexico.

Hey! Good news!!

Tamara got a new job! I am now a nanny for four children! And i love it. These are the two youngest kids, Thanh is four, and Zhang is three. I'm not sure what else to say.... This family has been through alot of tragedy recently, So if it ever crosses your mind, prayers are coveted. I'm so blessed that God has given me the opportunitly to work for this family. And i can't wait to see all He does through this.

This isn't new new's....

But i would say it definitly deserves to be posted. Joshua and i got matching tattoo's! "Heirs together of the grace of life". 1 peter 3.

you know what i love? chocolate milk!

And, being married!!!!
picture #1, my lamp broke, so Joshua improvised, by hanging Christmas lights, from a hook in our ceiling.
picture #2, Joshua came home from work, and surprised me with flowers!
they're pretty.

Great Dinner

We decided to make the most out of our stay in Dallas. So we spent way more money than someone should on a rack of ribs. Well, Josh got the rack of ribs. I got a tomato and avocado salad. It was delicious. Honeymoons are great. I think everyone should take one.

Headed to Dallas!

We're finally starting our trip to Jamaica! First stop, Dallas where we will stay the night. On our flight to Dallas the little girl in front of Joshua was totally crushing on him, and couldn't keep her hands off. Luckily for her, she was like four, and he found it a little creepy.

One more week!

Yesterday we started moving stuff into our apartment! Josh will be living there for the next week, so we're working on getting all of his stuff in first. Thankfully Mat and Judith came to help us move. This made the process much easier. And fun. Judith is sick right now, it would be great if you guys prayed for her. Anyways. I'm sure we'll be posting more stuff soon.

Parchments has a new friend.

Stuart Little!! This is Mat being a man about trying to capture him. Mind you, just moments before this he was standing on top of box with the broom, saying "Guys i really don't like mice, and i really don't know what you want me to say right now."

Quick Update

Joshua and I are no longer moving to California!
CCBC ran out of married dorms, and they are the only campus who offers them.
So we prayed about it for a bit, and decided this was where God was calling
us to be, ALBUQUERQUE! God willing we will move to Murrieta for the
spring semester. We can hang out with Chuck than.

Because we aren't moving to California just yet, we have been looking into little studios
We spent a good few hours last friday driving around town, checking out prices, and such,
It was pretty exciting! We are still praying and looking. I'll let you know when we find one!

We've also been helping out at Metro Calvary the past two sundays.
We meet every sunday at 11am at the El Rey theatre downtown.
Joshua has been doing slides and sound, so I've been doing set up with Jackie.
It's pretty cool, im really excited to see how the Lord will use it to bring more souls to His kingdom.
I'm praying we reach an entirely different people group than we could at the main campus.
We'll see what the Lord does!

Favorite food with my Favorite human

After work Joshua and i decided to get some Papa John's, and take it to the park. It was a good time, followed by hours of pre marital homework, and than church, Kelly's for some food, and more pre marital. It was a great day. I'm glad i get to go through life with him.

Employment is a beautiful thing.

Joshua has joined the Calvary staff team once again! We now work on the same campus. That is a wonderful thing.

0oh my gooodness!!! So many things that i haven't had time to blog. Apologies.

These start form the bottom and go up.
1. Joshua Thomas Romero is HOME!!! And we get married in just 74 DAYS!!!! AH! (i love him)
2. Tortilla faces!!! :) the gang at the frontier
3.Alysia and i decided it would be a good idea to lay out in the rain before Velocity. Aside from what my hair looked like afterwards, it was a great time.
4. Our incredible 8th graders, (who are now classified as 9th graders ;( ) who ran service for their last wednesday night. It was incredible, these kids are so passionate for Jesus, and I cannot wait to see all the ways the Lord chooses to use them in this coming year. Those students have taught me so much. God is so good.
5. Saturday night service was in the park combined with Vertical. This is me with Denver and Mat. If Joshua was in this picture i could say its all my favorite men. But he isn't, so i won't say that.
6. These are my 3 favorite men, giving eachother a piggy back ride??? hmmmm.
7. Sonic with AJ and some other great people, to kill time before blowing up the bouncy toy so us leaders could play on it for hours.
8. Joshua and i are starting our pre-marital!!!! There is SO much homework, and I love every minute of it!! I'm really glad we are blessed enough to go through this book, and go through the thought provoking questions it gives us. It's just showing more and more that Joshua and I were created for one another.
9. Our Velocity South Dakota mission team leaves this weekend, so they were commissioned in main service tonight. I can't wait to hear all God does with those kids in SD.

Our own personal version of Sundays in the Park

The only downfall, was the bug bites we all got. Gross.

Girls night at The Melting Pot

Friday night, was our night for the Velocity girl leaders and guy leaders to split, and have some good fellowship with oneanother, and to really just hang out with Kevin and Jen all together, for one of our last times. It was a blast hanging out with all of these lovely ladies!
Jen Miller is one of the most amazing women that i know. I cannot wait to see all the incredible things the Lord has planned for Tennessee.

I once heard it said that girls are like corn dogs...

This would be Denver passing down his wisdom to the younger generation about education and women. A good heart to heart. Those usually come out at IHOP. We've been there WAY too much lately. But its the only place open after ten. Good times.
